There are words in Latin which are very similar. “Cristos” means Christ and “crestos” means kindness. What a great confusion! It reminds us how Christians should be the kindest of people.

If I’m first in my own eyes I’ll be last in God’s eyes.

Hypocrisy is calling Christ, Lord, but not obeying Him; calling Christ, Light, but not seeing Him; and calling Christ, Life, but not living for Him.
God’s providence will never take you to a place where His grace won’t sustain you.
We must keep the church in the world but keep the world out of the church.
