Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways
submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
Here are some more things I’ve been learning about life:
God plants us in the right place to grow.
When I’m up, I need to be careful I don’t lose my head and when I’m down I need to be careful I don’t lose my heart.
You can make a person’s day by sending an encouraging note.
God uses that which is broken to build that which is whole.
One hits a target by both aiming and releasing.
To have a heart for God means to be a man after God’s own heart.
To cheer myself up it helps to cheer someone else up.
It’s the truth that sets us free.
I’m a work in progress; God isn’t finished with me yet.
It helps to know when to speak one’s mind and when to shut up.
Each day is a foundation stone for the future.
Success shouldn’t be measured by wealth but by wisdom; not by status but by service.
God gives enough grace for each new day.
Words can hurt more than sticks and stones.
In God’s economy the way up begins when I kneel down.
Three of the most powerful words I can use are, “I love you.”
Two very powerful words are, “I’m sorry.”
A mans character is determined by what he does with what he has.
Life is the voyage to eternity.
