Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?  Psalm 85:6

It’s time for revival, time for a renaissance of religion, time for the church to get ‘back to the future.’

Yes, it’s time for us to see that God is “doing a new thing” Isaiah 43:19.

Time for this generation to be reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Time for Christians to be real – not religious.

Time for confession and contrition.

Time for brokenness and humility.

Time for God’s people to be led by their dreams instead of being pushed by their problems.

Time to change and take risks.

Time for churches to break out of the mold, move on, retool, and adopt entirely new packages of language and creativity while maintaining the timeless truth of God’s Word.

Time for the understanding and expression of Christianity to be what God wants it to be.

Time to stop franchising ourselves with past patterns and practices.

Time for churches to be adaptive, entrepreneurial, sensory and participatory.

Time to “pour new wine into new wineskins” Matthew 9:17.

Time for eyes to be opened, ears unplugged and tongues loosened.

Time for the softening of hearts and the sharpening of spirits.

Time for minds to be renewed and holiness pursued.

Time for the church to be a place that’s thick with God’s presence.

Time for Christians to understand the times and know what to do.

Time to act on the spiritual and strategic opportunities before us.

Time to get hot wired to Jesus.

Time to react, respond and reach contemporary society for His glory and His fame.

Time to encourage Spirit filled spontaneity and synergy.

Time to process what God is doing in faith and openness.

Time to “not dwell on the past” Isaiah 43:18.

Time for grace and compassion to be practical realities.

Time to be spiritually natural and naturally spiritual.

Time to appreciate we can’t copy what others have done and can’t continue with yesterday’s success.

Time to see that past glory is no guarantee for tomorrow’s survival.

Time to forge into new territory as the Holy Spirit leads.

Time to embrace the unique context and community in which God has placed us.

Time to balance the Spirit and the Word.

Time to be willing to fail in order to succeed.

Time for the church to be organic in nature and open in practice.

Time to go beyond our comfort zones.

Time to take time.

Time to listen to God for today’s agenda.

Time to catch the fire and fan the flame.

Time to be “built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit” Ephesians 2:22.

Time for God’s power to be unleashed in the schools, shops, streets, and suburbs of our city.

Time for the church to be a powerhouse of prayer, throbbing with passionate worship, filled with joyful loving people, awestruck at miraculous signs and wonders, inspired by anointed Bible preaching and teaching, marked by generosity and sincerity, and buzzing with stories of the difference Christ has made in people’s lives.

Time to please God and see Jesus lifted up.

Time to recognize it’s not about you and me but about surrendering to Christ’s ways and following Him to the end of our days.

It’s time.
